Mayflower Avenue is the name of the street where both of my parents grew up; they lived there briefly after they married, too. One set of grandparents owned a tavern nearby called The Mayflower and I was born in May, so it stands to reason that this term is part of my identity.
I have learned a lot about making, cooking and hospitality from these people and hope that their gardening prowess will rub off on me, too.
This blog will cover thoughts and observations on food, crafts, art and media.
